Hi, I’m Kari. I’m an author, therapist, and coach with 10+ years experience.

When we feel low, we tend to see everything through a negative lens. Having a space to work out your thoughts can help you to see things differently. Therapy is about unpacking and rewriting the story of your life so you can create new and positive beginnings. We all have untapped potential and sometimes we need a bit of help nudging it loose.

Who are you now, and who do you want to be? In my years of practice, finding the answer to these questions has always been the first step. Not knowing can cause all kinds of problems that sneak up on us, like depression, anxiety, stress, insomnia, worry, addiction, or failure to reach our full potential.

Existential Therapy

We often have a limited awareness of ourselves and the problems we face. While we think we know, we usually don’t. Existential therapy can help you gain a better understanding of yourself in the big picture of things, and to build a healthy path forward.

Integrative Therapies

Chances are that a combination of therapies will be the most effective way to help you reach your goals. Each of us is unique and one size does not fit all. Built upon an existential foundation, I offer Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Psychodynamic, Narrative, Novel©, and Life-writing therapies.

Did you know that reading fiction can be therapeutic? Novel Therapy© can help you better understand your own struggles through the eyes of another. I write weekly stories of a past-life of debauchery and crime, with wild meanderings on mental illness, philosophy and psychology. These are contrarian, raw, and unapologetically honest.
